Oh how I will miss you Ms Barbara! I have sat behind you in church for 6 years and every Sunday you gave me a hug as we greeted each other. So many great memories of Sunday & Wednesday nights, and you made such great peanut butter fudge! I will miss that great smile, and to see the little girls run up to you & General as i came into the sanctuary each Sunday . We all hoped & prayed for an earthly healing, but God gave you the ultimate healing. See you in heaven my sweet friend. We love you;
Wanda, Daniel, & Brian Lowe

Aunt Barb always was glad to see you and when she did you got a big hug. A hug like only my aunts could give! I used to love to go their house and visit and she would cook up a big ol mess of fish! She always had CMT on like Aunt Connie did! I love you Aunt Barb! We will miss you but have faith that we will see you again! Love Lil Gary Jr.

Many great memories. We grew up together and had lots of good times. We loved to walk and would walk all over Mansfield. And during the summer we went to camp at the Free Methodist Camp on Rt 39 going towards Lucas. And also would go swimming at North Lake Park Pool. And went ice skating during the winter at North Lake Park. And back then there was lots of stores down town Mansfield and the only night the stores were open was monday nights and we would save change and go shoping on monday night. Friday nights was football games and we would have fun going to games. When I was 15 I was in a bad car wreck and she would come to visit me in the hospital. I was not able to go out or do anything for a while so we sort of didn't see one another much.
I remember when all the cousins got to play ball and it always seemed that when Barb was up to bat I was the catcher, she would bat then fling the bat right back at me and across the shins,wow did that hurt. I hated being catcher. She always had the habit of throwing the bat behind her.I have so many memories of her. Her Grandma Payton and my Mom were sisters. And I spent most of my life next door to her grandma and my aunt. which is why Barb and her family was always close to us. I didn't see her much with her being in Florida most of the time. But I Did call her from time to time. I want to say to Gene,Phyllis,Phil, Kevin and their familys that my thoughts are with you and what a great wife and mother and grandmother she was. She is at rest now and is with the rest of the family in Heaven. One day we all want to see her again. Peace be with you and her brothers and sister.

So many memories with Barb in the last 5 years, she was the most kind and caring person I know, and her and Gene did raised some exceptional kids, and made me a better person just being part of her and her families life. Playing the Wii game at Christmas was one of the best memories, lord did I laugh, and seeing her playing the game with a large smile on her face and laughing out loud made me forget all of my pain during the holidays. Thank you for being part of my life Mom, I have been blessed being part of yours.
