Obituary of Suzanne Marie Ringersen

Suzanne Marie Ringersen, 53, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Peace River Regional Medical Center in Port Charlotte. Mrs. Ringersen was born February 8, 1958 in Tarrytown, New York to Robert and Janet (nee O'Brien) Matheis and moved to this area 7 years ago from Long Beach, Long Island, New York. She was co-owner of an import-export company along with her husband, Robert. Mrs. Ringersen was a member of San Antonio Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Mrs. Ringersen is survived by her husband, Robert L. Ringersen, II of Punta Gorda; her son, Robert L. Ringersen, III; her daughter, Michaela Anne Ringersen; her parents, Bob and Janet Matheis of Port Charlotte; her brothers, Robert E. (Kerri) Matheis of Punta Gorda and Matthew S. (Meri) Matheis of Lindenhurst, LI, NY; her sisters, Kathleen Matheis, Jacqueline (Wayne) Goodchild of Punta Gorda, and Alison M. Matheis of Lindenhurst, LI, NY. Family will receive friends Friday, August 12, 2011 from 2-4:00PM and 6-8:00PM at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW County Road 769 in Lake Suzy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00AM on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at San Antonio Catholic Church, 24445 Rampart Boulevard in Port Charlotte.
