Obituary of John Gregory Van de Vyver

John Gregory Van de Vyver, 95, of Punta Gorda, Florida passed away Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Pinebrook Care and Rehabilitation Center in Venice, FL. Mr. Van de Vyver was born May 14, 1916 in Breida, Netherlands to Klaus and Jana (Van de Pyle) Van de Vyver. He worked as a director of an art gallery. Mr. Van de Vyver is survived by his sons, Joel Lederer of Port Charlotte and Robert Lederer of Punta Gorda; daughter, Helen (Louis) Van Eijk of Amsterdam, Netherlands; and 2 grandchildren. Mr. Van de Vyver was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel Van de Vyver. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00PM on Monday, August 8, 2011 at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW County Road 769 - Kings Highway in Lake Suzy.
