Obituary of Randy M. Giacometti

Randy M. Giacometti went home to be with his Lord Saturday morning, April 18, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. Randy was born in Springfield, Illinois on December 24, 1941. He graduated from Feitshans High School, where he met and married his high school sweetheart, Nancy Usher. He worked in manufacturing management for many years. After moving to Florida in 1985, he worked in real estate until his retirement. Randy enjoyed fishing, gardening, and sports, especially the Kentucky Wildcats. He loved spending time outdoors, enjoying God's creation. Randy was a member of the body of Christ through his simple faith in Jesus Christ (I Corinthians 15:1-4). Randy and Nancy were blessed by the Bible teaching of Les Feldick. Randy is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; sons, Randy Giacometti Jr. and his wife, Ruth, of Sweetwater, TN and William Giacometti and his wife, Melody, of Kingsport, TN; daughters, Julie Norus and her husband, Jeff, of Port St. Lucie, FL and Gina Hayes and her husband, James, of Port Charlotte, FL; nine grandchildren, Anna Henderson (husband, Chris Henderson), Catie Giacometti, Justin Giacometti, Megan Giacometti, Jeffrey Norus, Jordan Norus, Jocelyn Norus, Jadon Norus, and Meagan Hayes; one great-grandson, Caleb Henderson.
