Obituary of Sandra M. Kakritz

Sandra "Sandy" M. Kakritz, 69, of Okeechobee, FL passed away Wednesday morning March 4, 2015 at the Hamrick House Hospice in Okeechobee, FL. Sandy was born May 3, 1945 in Chicago, IL. She lived in Dania, FL until receiving her BS in teaching from FAU. Taught special needs children in Ocala, FL until 1980 when she moved to Punta Gorda to help with the Family Business. Palms and Pines MHP& RV Resort. Semi-retired, she moved to Okeechobee, FL in 2005. Sandy is survived by her husband Bill, three sons, Curtis MacLeod, his wife Karen; WIlliam "Butch" Dibble, his wife Doris; Benjamin Kakritz, his wife Nancy and one daughter, Teresa Kakritz. Sandy has one brother, Gordon; his wife Lois and nephew Ian. Additionally, she has one brother and sister-in-law Lawrence "Larry" and Patty Kakritz and nephew Andy, his wife Valerie, and niece Abby, her husband Dave Dixon. Her grand children are Sean MacLeod, his wife Theresa; Lindsay and Josie Dibble; Jordan Jauregui and Mikayla Kakritz; Heather and Jazmin Kakritz. Her great grand children are Madison and Trenton MacLeod. Her great nephews are Jacob Kakritz, Alex and Ian Dixon. Sandy was preceded in death by her father Ian MacLeod in 1980 and her mother Josephine Chittick MacLeod in 2002.
