Obituary of Joseph L. Pomponio

Joseph L. Pomponio, 87, passed away Thursday, February 19th 2015. Joseph was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. and resided in Port Charlotte for 20 years. Joseph served proudly in the United States Navy, serving in World War 2 in the pacific, The Korean War and The Vietnam War. He retired a Master Chief. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Edith, his son Anthony, two grandchildren, Rachel Marie and Andrew Joseph, and three great grandchildren, Makayla Ann, Amber Lynn and Joseph Anthony. A memorial service with Military Honors will be held at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home, Punta Gorda, on Sunday, March 1st at 10:00 am.
