Obituary of Gloria L. Tanguay

Gloria L. Peters Tanguay died peacefully in her sleep at her home in Port Charlotte, Fl. on Sunday 2/15/15. Gloria was born 11/5/32 and raised in Nashua, N.H. where she graduated from Nashua High School, was married to Edward Tanguay for 57 wonderful years and is survived by her brother, Glenn Peters, 4 children; Donna Hammer, Kathi Martinage, Edward Tanguay, Jr. and Donald Tanguay; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Gloria was a loving mother, nana and sister… who loved people! She loved to entertain and be in the presence of family and friends. A memorial service will be held at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home at 9400 Indian Springs Cemetery Rd, Punta Gorda, FL 33950 on Saturday, 2/28/15 at 11:00 a.m. The funeral will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 3 Lund Rd., Nashua, N.H. on Saturday 3/7/15 at 9:30 a.m. and the Woodlawn Cemetery, 101 Kinsley St., Nashua, N.H. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Alzheimers Association in Memory of Gloria Tanguay at ALZ.org or Alzheimer's Assoc, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
