Obituary of Tyler Scott Beasley Dreher

Tyler Scott Beasley Dreher was granted an all-access backstage pass to the great rock & roll and heavy metal band in heaven on Oct. 29, 2014. Born April 10, 1982 in McAllen, TX, Tyler spent his childhood growing up in Punta Gorda, FL. He was a 2000 graduate of Charlotte High School where he played varsity football and was a member of NJROTC. After high school Tyler joined the US Air Force and was stationed at Holloman AFB where he was a Lead Tactical Aircraft Mechanic on the F-117A Stealth Fighter, after Holloman he served 2 tours at Osan AFB in S. Korea and later at Hill AFB serving as a Dedicated Crew Chief on the F-16 fighter . Tyler attained the rank of Technical Sergeant before leaving the Air Force in 2008. Tyler was an avid reader and particularly loved Stephen King and Dean Koontz. He had an amazing ability to quote almost the entire script from his favorite movies Predator and Alien. Blessed with a musical talent for playing music by ear Tyler excelled at playing guitar, drums, bass guitar, and piano. He loved all things Heavy Metal but had a distinct appreciation for classical music. He leaves behind his parents Shane Beasley, and Cynthia and Tim Lutz, a brother Ben (Katie) Hooper, sisters; Beth (Tim) Wheeler and Ande Michelle Beasley, Aunts Chrys Harris and Allison (John) Hilek, Uncles Clint Pulliam, David Beasley and Dorsey Cooper, 2 nephews and 1 niece. and dozens of cousins who will forever miss him. He was pre-deceased by his grandparents OW and Jean Beasley, Lee Pulliam and Deene and Sam Dreher, and uncles Curtiss Pulliam and Sam Presley Dreher. Tyler was taken from us far too soon but he brought love, laughter, and inspiration to all who knew him. ROCK ON TYLER! Cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends for shared memories this Saturday at 1:00 PM at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Road in Punta Gorda.
