Obituary of Vincent Anthony Toro

Vincent Anthony Toro, 75, of Port Charlotte, Florida, died Wednesday, October 8, 2014. Vince was born in Brooklyn, NY on May 25, 1939. He met his lovely bride and was married July 31,1966, and started his family in Long Island. Vince and family moved to Port Charlotte in 1980 and he worked for the Social Security Administration for 30 years. He loved cooking, eating, gardening, socializing and his family! He is survived by his wife Joan Toro, daughters Florence Ostrum (Jesse) of Coconut Creek, Florida, Theresa Toro, of Port Charlotte and Mariann Mock (Darren) of Raleigh, NC and grandchildren Carson, McKenzie,and Logan. Visitation will be Saturday, Oct.11 at 12:00 PM followed by a service and reception at 1:00PM. Burial will be at Charlotte Memorial Cemetery immediately following.
