Obituary of Carmen Gloria Badillo

Carmen Gloria Badillo, 79, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Monday, May 2, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Badillo was born July 16, 1931 in Puerto Rico and moved to this area 21 years ago from Queens, New York. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Mrs. Badillo is survived by her daughters, Rosemary (Tomas) Silva and Carmen Valentin, both of Port Charlotte, and Migdalia (Roberto) Ruiz of Long Island, NY; 10 Grandchildren; 24 Great-Grandchildren; and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. Visitation will be held from 3-7:00PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, with a 6:00 pm service at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW Kings Highway in Lake Suzy.
