Obituary of Frances Duffy Del Peschio Duffy

Frances Marie Del Peschio Duffy, 90, passed away in Port Charlotte, Florida on June 5, 2014. She was born in Asbury Park, NJ on August 31, 1923 to Vincent and Mildred Selletto. She was married to Pat Del Peschio and then to John Duffy, who survives her. Frances lived in Port Charlotte for more than 30 years and was active in many organizations in the area. She was a volunteer at the Port Charlotte Theater and was a member of the Irish Club, the Elk's Club and the Italian American Club. Frances was a devoted wife and Mother and is survived by her husband John Duffy, daughter Pamela Heltemes and son-in-law Steve Heltemes and their children Jeremy Heltemes (Lynzee), Kristin Hendry (Shawn), Kimberly Maloy (Shauncy) and Kara Thompson (Thad). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren. Frances was pre-deceased by her first husband Pat Del Peschio. A Catholic service was held at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home on June 7th with entombment following in the Saint Mary mausoleum at Charlotte Memorial Cemetery.
