Although I did not know Jane for very long, the impact she had on my life will never be forgotten. As a young 18 year old travelling all the way from England to live in Florida, I must say I did experience some level of loneliness and homesickness that was remedied by the kindness of the Krzeminski family, including Jane. Stephen was one of the few people I knew in the States and his family was kind enough to welcome me into their home for Thanksgiving which was the first time I met Jane.
Upon meeting Jane for the first time I was instantly smothered by her motherly instinct and warm heartedness. I instantly fell in love with Jane as someone I could see as a mother, which may sound strange considering I just met her but I believe that was the beauty of her personality.
My first Thanksgiving will always be a cherished memory for me that was made special by Jane's love, she even made a desert of my choice! Now I must say that this was just a finishing touch for what was a Thanksgiving that meant so so much to me that I can't even comprehend it. I felt at home.
Jane and the Krzeminski family became people I could actually call family away from my family and a place I could call home away from my home. I still remember Jane welling up when I gave her flowers and Reese's Peanut Buttercups to say thank you for having me over Thanksgiving but frankly I couldn't thank her and the Krzeminski family enough.
I got to see Jane again after I played ice hockey against Stephen's university team but this was sadly the last time I saw Jane. As I walked out of the changing rooms to be greeted by the open arms of Dennis and Jane, it felt as though I was coming out of the changing rooms of pee-wee hockey to see my own parents! They may as well have been because I felt such an overwhelming joy to see them that I could have been coming off the plane at London Heathrow to see my parents over Christmas break! It just felt right, it felt like family.
I will forever miss the woman who had so quickly become a mother to me and I will forever see the Krzeminski family as family. I am so grateful that I was able to be a part of Jane's life and that with the help of a hockey camp many years ago I gained a best friend in Stephen that allowed this whole experience possible. With this beautiful memory in mind, I send my deepest condolences for the loss of such an incredibly inspiring woman. I love you all so deeply,
Huw Baveystock

One of my favorite things I remember doing with Aunt Jane is her playing her guitar and singing to me as a child.
I also loved going with her to her job at the Huddle Inn. I remember her making me Shirley Temples and giving me cake.
I will cherish all of our memories forever.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Jane was a very special lady. When I first met Jane, I immediately liked her. She had that gift. When I would pull into my sister's driveway across the street, if Jane saw me she would run over. She had the ability to make me laugh over anything. I will miss her deeply, as well as every person's life that she touched. Please Dennis, if there is anything I can do to help just let me know.
God called home a very beautiful lady. I know she will be watching over her family and friends from above.
