Obituary of Alice Elizabeth Cobb

Alice Elizabeth Cobb, 65, of Arcadia, Florida passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL. Mrs. Cobb was born April 13, 1949 in Columbus, Mississippi to Ernest and Eunice (nee Hendon) Bowen. She worked as a clerk in various grocery stores and was a member of First Baptist Church of Fort Ogden in Fort Ogden, FL. Mrs. Cobb is survived by her husband, James Paul Cobb of Arcadia; son, James D. (Tammy) Cobb of Lake Worth, FL; daughters, Melissa K.(Daniel) Barrett of Homestead, FL and Teresa R. Cobb of Cape Coral, FL; brothers, Ernest Mayfield Bowen Panama City and Moses Danny Bowen of Atlanta, GA; sisters, Ernest LaFay Boman of Vernon, AL and Lisa Carol Bowen of Arcadia, FL; 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Fort Ogden, 9500 SW Hull Avenue in Fort Ogden. Burial will follow at Fort Ogden Cemetery in Fort Ogden.
