Obituary of Eloise Weston Treworgy

Eloise Weston Treworgy, 88, passed away peacefully at her home at Lexington Manor in Port Charlotte on April 17, 2014. Her daughter-in-law, Mary Treworgy, was with her when she passed. She was born July, 17, 1925 in Winterport, Maine. Eloise had a life-long love of music and was a talented singer. After marriage, she was devoted to her husband and children. While she had many accomplishments, she will be remembered as a loving mother and wife. She always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. She worked tirelessly for her family and her husband's businesses. She enjoyed travel and loved the fact that she had been to every state in America. Eloise moved to Punta Gorda in 1960 from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and from then on considered Punta Gorda her home. She said she loved it here for many reasons, but primarily it was the first place in her life that her feet actually felt warm. Eloise is survived by her three sons, Mike and Mary, her honorary daughter of 40 years, Rick, and Tom. She heaped love on six grandchildren, Trevor Treworgy of Punta Gorda, Justin Treworgy of Punta Gorda, Kenny Ray Pattison, Fred Pattison, Lance Pattison, all of Key West and April Patchell of Punta Gorda. Several great-grandchildren and many others will remember her kindness and love. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred D. Treworgy (1924 - 2009), her daughter, Patti Kay Pattison, and her only sibling, Shirley Burgess of Hampden, Maine.
