Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Meneely

Elizabeth Anne Meneely, 50, of Port Charlotte, FL went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 under the care of Tidewell Hospice surrounded by her loving family. She was born to her parents, who survive her, Ralph and Marie (nee: Regolizio) Colontonio on January 11, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York. Moving to Port Charlotte when she was 9, she graduated from Charlotte High School in 1982 and received, from Eckerd College, her Bachelor's Degree in 2005. She taught at Keiser University and worked for Charlotte County as IT Help Desk Support and moved into the position of Information Technology Director for the City of Punta Gorda. Elizabeth worked until her passing. She so enjoyed life with her family; pottery, painting, kayaking, photography, making jewelry and traveling, She will be missed by all who love and know her. She is survived by her father, Ralph (Mary) Colontonio, and mother, Marie Colontonio; her loving husband of 23 years, John; daughter, Adrianne Butwell; son Donald Meneely; granddaughter, Angelita Butwell all of Port Charlotte; brother, Frank (Bridget) Colontonio of Pt Charlotte; sisters, Monica Macho of Ft Myers and Diane (Joe) Van Gyzen of Punta Gorda; In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in Elizabeth Anne Meneely Memory, TO: Lung Cancer Research Council, P.O.
