Obituary of Lolita Fay Parnaby
Lolita Fay Mansur Parnaby, formerly of Port Charlotte, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 in Longmont, CO. She was 91. The youngest of five children, Lita was born August 10, 1922 in Vale, Oregon to Leslie Ray and Rowena Hill Mansur. She attended school in Vale and on July 15, 1939, she married John Parnaby and moved to Ohio where their son Ray was born. She and John both worked for the Packard Electric Division of General Motors, retiring in 1977 and moving to Port Charlotte soon after. Lita moved to Colorado in 2003 to be closer to family.
Lita is survived by her daughter-in-law, Donna, three granddaughters, and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, in 1981, and son, Ray in 1997.
A graveside service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
