Obituary of F.Priscilla Ventura

F. Priscilla Ventura, 94, of Punta Gorda, FL died Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at Fawcett Memorial in Port Charlotte, FL. She was born July 7, 1919 in Taunton, Mass. to the late Charles W. and Ruth M (nee; Bryant) Burgoyne. She graduated from Taunton High School and Fall River Nursing School and became a certified RN. She later married her husband of 65 years, Caesar A, Ventura from Taunton, Mass.(now deceased). She spent part of her life as a registered nurse and most of her life supporting her husband's efforts to establish and grow Nu Brite Paint Chemical Co. She enjoyed just being a homemaker, moving to Punta Gorda 32 years ago from Wareham, Mass. She was a member of the Church of the Good Shepard. After moving from Fountain Court in Punta Gorda, she became a resident of Sterling House. The family would like to thank the staff of Sterling House for the compassionate care they provided. She is actively survived by her daughter Linda A Tolley (Earl A.), grand children, great grandchildren, great great grand children, nieces, nephews and dear friends Family will receive friends and neighbors on Friday, September 27, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Service will be celebrated at 3:00 PM at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 9400 Indian Springs Cemetery Road, Punta Gorda, FL Entombment will follow in Charlotte Memorial Cemetery's Tranquility Hall. 941-639-1171.
