Obituary of Lois Ellen Cline

Lois Ellen Cline, 94, of Venice and North Port formerly of Battle Creek, Michigan died Saturday, September 14, 2013 in Venice, FL. She was born to the late Leslie and Kathryn Chubb on October 12, 1918 in Howell, Michigan. She married Wayland Cline who preceded her in death December 2, 1997. She moved to North Port 32 years ago from Battle Creek, MI She enjoyed the community and was a former member of the PTA School Cubs, Battle Creek Moose, Elks, American Legion, VFW and North Port Yacht Club. Lois loved stylish dress, dancing, cards, consignment shopping and socializing with her friends at the senior center. She traveled extensively to China, Alaska, Mexico and all places in between. She is survived by her loving children; son, Jerry (Patti) Cline; daughter, Kay (Charles) Kessler of FL; brother, Dick Corevin, of SC; sister, Shirley Imhoff of MI; six grandchildren, 9 great grand children, and 8 great great grandchildren and her companion of 10 years, Robert Stewart.
