Obituary of Kathleen M. Muir

Kathleen M. Muir, 83, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Muir was born December 17, 1929 in St. Ann's, Jamaica to Penrhyn and Ann (nee Nembhard) Boreland. She worked as a CNA at a mental facility and was of Baptist faith. Mrs. Muir is survived by her husband, Carlisle Muir of Port Charlotte; son, Danny (Shery) Daniels of Orlando, FL; daughters, Claudette (Barry) Samuels, Joyce (Leon) Henry, and Claudia Douglas, all of Orlando, FL; brother Hardley Boreland of New Jersey; sister Jean Evans of West Palm Beach, FL; 25 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 10-11:00AM on Monday, July 29, 2013 at Paul Schelm Funeral Home, 12687 SW County Road 769 in Lake Suzy. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM at the funeral home.
