Obituary of Walter H Jones

Walter H. Jones, Jr., 75, of Punta Gorda, FL went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 19, 2013 under the care of Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte, FL. He was born to the late Walter H. and Jeanette (nee Fleming) Jones, Sr. on August 15, 1937 in Chester, PA. A 1957 graduate of Chester High School and worked as carpenter until moving to Punta Gorda from Boothwyn, PA in 1993. His is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Mary K. Jones; son Walter H. Jones, III and his wife Diane; daughters, Annette Wilkinson and her husband Joseph (deceased) and Barbara Kirby and her husband Tom; brother David (Mary Ann) Jones; sister Shirley (Jim) Curley; step-grandchildren John and Amanda Pozzi and Karen and Eddie Kirby; several nieces and nephews.Walt was a loving husband, and father who took great pride in his family and home. He enjoyed watching NASCAR races and sold NASCAR Memorabilia. He will be missed by all who loved him.Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow.
