Nana was an amazing lady full of energy and the love of life. Her dedication to the children at Liberty has made a lasting impression on so many. Nana reminded me of my own grandmother in so many ways due to her warm smile and cheerful personality. She will be greatly missed by so many of us.

What can I say about Nana? She was such a joy. I loved seeing her face every day when she would sign in at the front office. She couldn't wait to visit with the kids and spend time with Coleen. She always had a smile on her face and a positive attitude about life. She treated Coleen's friends like she were our grandmother, too. Love you, Nana! You'll really be missed.

I met Bernice soon after moving into Villa San Carlos 4 years ago. I so enjoyed playing bingo with her and seeing her at many functions, luncheons, fests and celebrations here. I was very impressed with this very stylish lady and cheerful person --- she had a smile and kind words for everyone! I considered her my friend and she too called me friend. AND, when needed, she prayed for me and my family . . . and she would check on the situation, reminding me she was still praying. I KNOW her prayers helped me through some tough times. I will greatly miss her.

Nana was a special woman. She devoted her life to her family and was the angel who unconditionally loved and cared for her granddaughter Coleen for the last decade. Nana had a fun personality, demonstrating a lot of energy and spunk! She was passionate about her beliefs and wasn't afraid to be herself. She was selfless and generous always wanting to share in the joy of other people's lives. Knowing her was a blessing and she will never be forgotten. With love and sympathy, Julie, Jason and Logan Barrett

Bernice was a wonderful resident at Villa San Carlos Apartments, where I came to know and love her dearly. She touched so many lives there and I know countless others with her kindness and love. Bernice and I spoke almost daily and often about Colleen and Matthew who were the light of her life. I don't think we had one conversation that she did not mention them. The memories she gave me will forever be in my heart. I will forever cherish the times we shared, she is greatly missed.
Love, prayers, and my deepest sympathy - Sheila Jones

Mark and I met Bernice at Coleen's and Matthew's wedding. She was a lovely and gracious lady, always smiling and she was so happy for Coleen and Matthew. We were impressed at how she danced and danced on their wedding day. We know she is now smiling and dancing with the angels and Jesus. Our heartfelt sympathies to all of Bernice's family. With love, Mark and Dorothy Saccullo and Family

Nana was such a sweetheart, whether it was her time or a donation she was always giving. Nana was very active in her community volunteering at Liberty Elementary School, playing bingo, dominos, and going to multiple community events. She would frequently try new things; Nana was a great role model and full of spirit.
I will miss her dearly. With All My Love, Matt
