Obituary of Peggy J. Larsen

Peggy J. Larsen, age 75, died peacefully on June 16, 2013 at Signature Health Care in Port Charlotte, Florida where she resided for a brief time. The daughter of Gilbert and Edna (Lovellette) Osborne, Peggy was born July 2, 1937 in Evansville, IN. She was a graduate of Bosse High School in 1955. In 1956, Peggy married James C. Larsen and later separated in 1977. In her younger years, she was and homemaker and later retired from Wal-Mart in Evansville, IN. Peggy loved to do crafts and sew for all the children. She was last a member of Christ Church in Evansville, IN, where she was a member of the choir and enjoyed many of the activities of the church. Peggy was also of member of Zoar United Church of Christ in Elberfeld, IN. Peggy is survived by her son, David Larsen of Melbourne, FL and daughter, Susan Whittemore of Port Charlotte, FL. She also has 7 Grandchildren and 14 Great-grandchildren, which survive her. She was preceded in death by James Larsen in 2006 and her son, Kenneth Larsen, in 1979. Peggy will be laid to rest in Oak Hill Cemetery in Evansville, IN next to her son at a date to be released when available.
