Obituary of Luis M. Chansa-Collazo

Luis, was known as (Papa Louie) M. Chansa Collazo was born on January 31, 1937 in Jayuya Puerto Rico. He came to the Florida when he was 16 and grew up in Arcadia but lived most of his life in Punta Gorda. He was 84 years old when he passed away. Luis was a semi-truck driver prior to him working for a marine company, building bridges through-out the state of Florida. Some of those being the Barron Collier Bridge, Peace River Bridge and Cape Coral Bridge and exc. After dad retired he enjoyed being outside working on his boat, cars and trucks. He also enjoyed going fishing with his youngest daughter. Dad also loved being around family and friends. He was predeceased by his son Daniel who he missed dearly. He survived by his wife of 53 years, Cruzita. He children are Jose L. Chanza, Luis M Chanza Jr., Sesilia Kapudjija, Richard N Chanza, Anthony Chanza & Cruzita A Chanza; and 11 grandchildren and 10 great children.
