Our family just learned of Nanettes passing, and I wanted to share a little bit about what she meant to us. We are a young family, with two young children, that live around the corner from Nanette. We met Nanette shortly after we bought our home and moved in. Our oldest was only a couple of months old at the time. In the evenings, we would take a walk around the neighborhood, which is where we first saw Nanettes contagious smile. She was tending to her yard work and she stopped to gush about our baby daughter, and it was immediately obvious that she was an incredibly kind and gentle person. A few nights a week, we would see her in her yard and we would stop and chat about how life was going, music, the kids, her son, her grandkids, her dads oak tree in the front yard....it was always so nice to see her. She watched our daughter grow, and then over a few years, our son. She would sometimes run into the house to grab a matchbox car, or a book for the kids. They loved her. She was a bon vivant, ..a special person, a FUNNY person. We may not have know Nanette for very long, but it is only now that I realize what a constant positive presence she was in our family's lives. We will really miss seeing her and talking to her, and we wish the sincerest condolences to her family and friends.- The Kozlowski Family
