Obituary of Sandra Ann Poore

Sandra Poore, a resident of Florida for 25 years passed away on April 4th, 2023 at the young age of 81. Sandy is survived by her husband Michael Glennon, son Robert Poore, granddaughter Emily Poore, stepson Harold Poore and many nieces and nephews. Sandy was born in Pennsylvania on March 21st 1942. She was a teacher for 25 plus years in New Jersey for grades k through 12 with her main focus on 5th before she retired to Florida. Once in Florida she took up photography and art. Anyone who knows her knew how much they were her absolute passion. She in turn helped local establishments like the Gifted Gator and Visual Arts center. She also used her prior teaching to help Early childcare students. Sandy fell in love and remarried in August of 2017 to Michael Glennon. She continued her art and photography she had been doing as well as making warm and caring friendships with anyone that was lucky enough to meet her. Sandy loved the people in her life as much as they did her. She will be missed. There will be a visitation on Thursday, April 20th, 2023 from 3-5pm at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home at 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Road Punta Gorda, Florida 33950.
