Obituary of Gloria Rosa

Gloria Rosa, 69, of Rotonda West, Florida, daughter of the late Manuel and Auria Pires, passed away on January 20, 2023. She was born in Paradela De Monforte Chaves, Portugal in 1953. Gloria is survived by her daughter, Toni Rosa of Trumbull, Connecticut and her siblings, Emidio Pires and Janice, Manuel Pires and Margarida, Antonio Pires and Ana, Noemia Rodrigues and Charles and Eusebio Pires, loving aunt Noemia Goncalves all of Connecticut. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and friends. Gloria came to the United States with her family in 1960 and they settled in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Gloria retired from the City of Bridgeport after 20 years of service and moved to Rotonda West, Florida where she enjoyed her retirement days. The family would like to express gratitude to her neighbors and friends that assisted them over the last few weeks.
