Lillian was a member of the Twin Isles Country Club. She loved cooking, golf and travel. She was an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Her most avid activity was walking a mile or more every day. You could often see her at dawn speed-walking like a tiny beach Sandpiper at what looked like 100 miles per hour!
She was a kind and very positive person, striving to live a full and independent life regardless of her age and her blindness. Always optimistic, friendly and well-wishing Lillian was a role model for her nephew John and his wife Katherine. Very often they would say to her: “Auntie, we are trying to catch up with you”.
