She always had a special bond with her grandson Andy (Keri) Jackson and his children, Grace, Brady and Drew. When Andy was little he gave his grandmother the nickname of “Honey” which was used by all of her other grandchildren, Joey (Ali) Fones and Ginny (Ben) Klinger and their families. Janet was preceded in death by two wonderful husbands. She was married to Dale Fones for many years until his passing in 1987. In 1989, Janet married Donald King and was accepted into the family of his adult children and grandchildren. She enjoyed many years of being in this family until Don’s passing in 2011.
