Obituary of Joel Eggleston III

Joel Bailey Eggleston, III, 79, of Craig’s RV Park, Arcadia Fl, died the evening of October 5, 2022 after a long illness. He was born November 4, 1942 in Nyack, NY and after several moves and marriage, settled in Georgetown, DE His military career was with the Department of the Army, Delaware National Guard and later was hired by them as a mechanic technician. He was baptized and confirmed in the Episcopal Church. Survivors include his wife, Paxine Fleming Eggleston, a brother, Grover (Ann) Eggleston and one nephew, Graham Eggleston, his children, Joel Eggleston IV, Lawrence (Laurie) Eggleston, John (Gena) Eggleston, Judith (Alvin) Mann, Deborah (Ralph) Charles, Thomas Eagle and son-in-law, Louis Zaslow, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Bailey Eggleston, Jr and mother, Oleta King Eggleston, a daughter, Karen Zaslow as well as his previous wife, Carroll.
