Cynthia Collins

Obituary of Cynthia M Collins

"Cynthia Marie Collins, 56, passed away Sunday, September 18th peacefully in her sleep at home. Born in Blue Island, Illinois, to Susan (Ciserella) and Kenneth Racine. Cindy tackled the world with a heart of gold. Her beliefs lacked any evil, and we know she is promised rest in a better place we can imagine, until we all meet her on the other side. Cindy could easily be found at an Ozzy Concert or blasting good ol' rock & roll or metal through the speakers while studying for her Bachelor's in English at the University of Wyoming. Her last years were spent beachside in the warm weather and living in a place there was oxygen, unlike high in the mountains of Wyoming where she was previously a grand adventurer. She would be found at the base of a pine tree looking up to get the view of the sky through branches and watch the tree sway in the wind while admiring the mountainous wildflowers below. She greatly enjoyed the outdoors. Many stories include her off-roading and playing with full ambition. Cindy had a one of kind, contagious laugh, she was best known for laughing & loving her kids more than anything. She was a fierce mother, like a momma grizzly. She leaves a great legacy, strength, and great music taste to her three tougher than s*** children: Brendan Darrell, Desti Marie and Kyle Roy. She is also missed dearly by those surviving her: mother, Susan, and siblings JoAnne, Linda, Laura, and Zachary. She is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Racine and former husband Roy Collins. A gathering of family & friends will be scheduled at a later time to celebrate Cindy's life and to share more great memories. "Go, my friend. Be free, as the rest of us living or dead, can never be but forever trapped within a memory."
