Such a terrible loss of a wonderful young man. Michael was kind, smart, polite and good looking. Our family is broken hearted. May he Rest In Peace. We all know he is in a better place ❤️

Michael meant more to me than most know. He gave me two of the most beautiful gifts anyone could give, and that's our daughter Chloe and him leading me to have a relationship with God. One thing I can say, is we were always able to talk about anything. He was one of my best friends. We shared a passion for reptiles and animals. We had our very own petting zoo at one point. Another thing we loved doing together was going fishing. Mike even put freshwater large mouthed bass in my mother's pool after hurricane Charley left it looking like a pond for a short time, just so he didn't have to hear me complain about him leaving to go fishing while Chloe was so young. He could always find humor in everything and made everyone laugh as he lit up the room with his beautiful smile. His smile was so big that I named it "the cheese". I have very fond memories of Michael and he is deeply missed.

Barb and family,
We just learned of your lovely stepsons death. I lost my son and know personally the pain. Words all ring hollow at this time. Look for a rainbow, a butterfly and listen to the gentle breezes blowing. That will be a message. Look for Pennie’s from Heaven. He will leave some for all of you to find and remember him. After a time the pain will ease and you will all be able to think of him with a slight smile and happy memories. There will always be a hole in the hearts of those who loved him, but the pain will be tucked away into that hole. Talk about him, say his name. It keeps his memory alive. Cry, scream and hold on to your loved ones. You all need each other at this time, more than ever. And above all, know you are all in the prayers of those of us that love and care for you.
Love,
Heather Waye
