Obituary of Francis H Grandstaff

Francis H. Grandstaff was born on April 7th, 1938 in Chili, Indiana. He passed away on August 5th, 2022 at the age of 84. He retired in 2008 and was a faithful member of Peace River Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with children at church, serving in Awana, Sunday school and greeting people as they arrived in church. Francis is survived by his wife, Lucille Grandstaff; son, Rick Reed (Punta Gorda, FL); daughters, Sherri Cordes (Lakeville, IN), Cindy Bernard (Elkhart, IN), Lori Martin (Auburndale, FL), and Jenni Beard (St. Louis, MO); brothers, Larry Grandstaff, John Grandstaff, and Steve Grandstaff. He had 19 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and numerous other family and friends. Francis was predeceased by his daughter, Debbi McDowell; brother, Dean Grandstaff; and sister, Betty Cook. There will be a memorial service on Saturday, September 3, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the Peace River Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a veteran’s organization of your choice.
