Obituary of Daniel Fiscus

Daniel “Dan or Danny” Lee Fiscus, 61, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away peacefully and went into the arms of the Lord on July 29,2022. He graduated from Brownsburg Highschool in 1979. He resided and raised his daughter Amanda in Clayton, Indiana until 2004 when he and his wife, Maria Fiscus, relocated to Port Charlotte, Florida, a town they loved and never left. He was a master craftsman who most recently worked at Helix, Bottom Zupp, and Busy Bee as a construction project manager. He enjoyed driving his sparkling green jeep to the beach, golfing, woodworking and building furniture with his grandsons, and spending time with his family. Dan’s grandsons brought the biggest smile to his face; he loved being a Papaw. He was a member of Family Church in Port Charlotte, where you could always find him for Sunday service. Dan made an impression on everyone he met. He will be dearly missed and always remembered. Dan was predeceased by his Grandparents Francis and Leona Miller, father Jerry Fiscus, his uncle David Miller, and brother-in-law Bill Walsh. Dan is survived by his wife Maria Fiscus, daughter Amanda (Fred) Clark, daughter Brelyn Noel, mother, Ruth Fiscus, his three siblings, Rick (Shannon) Fiscus, Jim (Pam) Fiscus, Laurie Walsh, his wonderful grandsons (Braydan Fishel, Evan Fishel, and Tyson Boyd) and multiple nieces and nephews. Dan requested a celebration of life be held in his honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Dan’s loved one to join us in celebrating his beautiful life at Family Church PC, 20035 Quesada Ave, Port Charlotte, Florida 33952 on September 3rd, 2022, at 10:30 am for visitation and service starting at 11:00 am. Proceeding Dan’s Celebration of Life we will have lunch and continue his remembrance at Finnegan’s Grille, 1825 Tamiami Trail, Pt. Charlotte FL 33948; where he and Maria were Friday Night regulars for many years.
