Obituary of Jeffrey Richard Scalici

Jeffrey Richard Scalici, 59, passed away Sunday, February 20, 2022 in Port Charlotte, FL. He was born December 22, 1962 in Bethpage, Long Island, NY. Jeff was owner of Paisano's Pizzeria & Restaurant and Family Circle Restaurant both in Saratoga Springs, NY before moving to Florida. He was honored by the National DECA Association and owner of several racing horses. Jeff was also so thankful for the opportunity to work with and become family with the amazing people of Florida Engineering and always felt it an honor to be a part of their team. He was active with many groups including, The Port Charlotte Corvette Club of which he was President, an active Numismatist, associated with North Port Coin & Collectibles, Member of the local Animal Rescue association, among many other varied organizations and interests. Let's not forget his love of all sports too!!! Jeff is survived by his sister, Susan Scalici Sylvain; niece Chantal Cappuccio; Chanelle (Joe) Sylvain-Martino with great niece Olivia Lucia Martino. Cousin MJ Cordell & second cousin Melissa Perez; brother, Richard (Joanne) Scalici of Coconut Creek, Florida; niece, Joanne (Billy) Spear of New Jersey-Samantha Spear; Nephew; Richard Scalici -Richard and Ashley Scalici of Arizona -Gia and Bella Scalici; Nephew; Ronald and Carrie Scalici of New Jersey -Angelina, Max and Eric Scalici; brother, Dennis Scalici of New Jersey; nephew, Michael and Nicholas Scalici. Jeff was preceded in death by his loving parents Doretta & Richard Scalici. He was a true gentle giant and caring friend to anyone he met, who became his immediate friend. His family thanks all those who touched his life, please know you each meant so much to him.
