Obituary of Dorothy Vivian Kovitch

Dorothy Vivian Kovitch 84, of Burnt Store Isles, Punta Gorda, FL passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021. Born on July 7, 1937 in Chicago, IL, Dorothy grew up in Cicero, IL and graduated from J. Sterling Morton East High School. She was employed by Sears Roebuck at their Chicago, IL main office, The University of Chicago, Industrial Relations Center. Her special interests included: gardening, growing African Violets, bowling, reading and trips to Australia. She leaves behind her husband Joseph P. Kovitch of 63 years and sister Betty Parks. She was predeceased by sons David and Stephen and her parents Joseph and Marie (Trousil) Maly. Arrangements are by Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home. Her ashes will be placed in the niche at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Dorothy’s name to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
