Obituary of Michael Jorge Poll

Michael Jorge Poll, age 72, of Port Charlotte, Florida, formerly of Sand Lake, Michigan, passed away into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital surrounded by his wife and children. He was born July 11, 1949 in Grand Rapids, Michigan the son of Milfred F Poll and Alberta Jane (Ehman) Poll. He served in the United States Air Force from 1968 to 1972 working most of those years at K. I. Sawyer Air Force Base in Gwinn, Michigan. He worked many other jobs including assistant transportation manager at the Grand Rapids Press. He loved many outdoors sports and activities including: hunting, bicycle riding, kayaking, and camping. Michael is survived by his wife of 51 years, Linda, whom he married on June 12, 1970; his son, Mike (Amy) Poll II; daughter, Shana Poll; grandson, Jon (Samantha) Poll; great grandchildren, Skyler Drumheller, Aiden Poll, Eli Poll, Caden Drumheller, Emma Poll, Addi Poll, and Rory Poll; siblings, Ed Poll, Tom (Pat) Poll, Russ (Deb) Poll, Rog (Kelly) Poll, and Kevin (Donna) Poll; several nieces and nephews, and many special friends.
