Obituary of Oliver Eli Hayes

Oliver Eli Hayes, Sr. 91, of Punta Gorda passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 5,2021. Born April 19,1930 in Plattsburgh, NY and an Army veteran, Oliver worked for Charlotte County Utilities as well as being a member of the Knights of Columbus for 51 years. Oliver is survived by his two daughters and son; Mary, Carol and Buzzy; sister Betty Hayes of Plattsburgh, NY; grandchildren Stephanie, Jessica and Brittney; great-grandchildren Darnell, Eli, Wyatt, Houston, TJ and Cameron. He is preceded in death by Edna Trudeau. A Mass to be held at Sacred Heart Church at a later date. Following the mass, the services will be held at Charlotte Memorial Gardens.
