Obituary of Bobbie Jean Eddrington

Bobbie Jean Eddrington, a resident of Port Charlotte, Florida for 3 years, passed away at her home on August 4, 2021. She was 60 years old. Bobbie was born in Stanford, Kentucky on January 20, 1961 to the late Lafe and Bessie (Turner) Eddrington. Bobbie was a lifelong Kentucky Wildcats fan. She loved to go on vacation and especially enjoyed going on cruises. She spread joy to those around her and the memory of her will be cherished forever by those whose lives she touched. Bobbie is survived by her sisters, Gwen Penman Eddrington and Linda Eddrington Davis (Richard); brothers, Nathan Eddrington (Darlene) and Teddy Eddrington (Annette); nieces, Althea Penman Lear and Quantavia Eddrington; nephew, Timothy Eddrington; great niece, Nila Ricketts; and great nephews, Tacoma Lear, Alex Eddrington (Stevie) and Antoine Newton Jr. She was preceded in death by her uncle, Robert Turner; aunts, Flora Bell Turner, Gracies Tillie Turner Gentry and Margaret Simpson; nephew, Nehemiah Eddrington; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. A Celebration of Bobbie’s Life will take place on Saturday, August 14, 2021, starting at 1:00 PM, at Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home and Cemetery, 9400 Indian Spring Cemetery Road, Punta Gorda, FL 33950.
