Obituary of Linda Mae Canino

Linda M. (Epstein) Canino, 78, a resident of North Port Florida, formerly of South Windsor, CT died Friday evening, July 16, 2021 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital of Port Charlotte, FL with her family by her side. Throughout the years, Linda worked in Banking, most notably at the Federal Reserve Bank and Englewood Bank here in Florida before she retired. Linda loved playing mahjong and looked forward to her weekly games with her friends, the mahjong girls. Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth (Betty) Piwoski, her father Douglas Epstein and her sister Diane Simmons. She is survived by her husband Richard of 59 years; brother, John Piwoski (Barbara); her three children, Rick Canino, Leslie Wheeler, and Carrie Aiesi (Seamas); her four grandchildren, Kaitlin Potvin (Michael), Kyle Wheeler (Shannon), Zachary Canino and Gianna Aiesi; her great-grandchildren, Jacob and Isabella Potvin; and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at a later date.
