Obituary of Etervina Rodriguez Rodriguez

Etervina Rodriguez was one of five. Born to become an orphan, as her mom died giving birth to her last son, Cesar when Etervina was 2 years old. Etervina's father remarried and had eight other children. She was raised in a very big household until she met Santos Berrios, got married and had 10 children; 9 pregnancies with a set of twin girls. Mom was devoted to all her children. Although she was never able to educate herself because times were difficult, she was able to learn to become more faithful with her religious beliefs by reading and writing the Bible. It was more important to Etervina to raise her children and be close with them. She loved unconditionally. Mom had a good sense of humor, loved music and loved to dance whenever possible. She also loved to cook; more so, when her family was coming to see her. Etervina's needs were met by her children, who helped to assist her as her life changed when she moved to Florida, leaving her beloved Puerto Rico one last time and never realizing that God would call her home. One son, her oldest, had been waiting for Mom to arrive in the glory of God's home. The children that are left will never forget their first love. 1.Angel (deceased) 2.Ariel 3.Lydia 4.
