Obituary of Daniel Salinas Hernandez

Daniel Salinas Hernandez was born on July 21,1961 and passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 7, 2021. He enjoyed his 15 years living in Port Charlotte, especially the time he spent with his wife of 15 years, Maria Saldana, who passed away three years before he did. Daniel enjoyed working outdoors as a landscaper and ran his own lil landscaping business. He loved being around family when he had time off and cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren. Everyone who met Daniel said he was the most humble person. He loved helping others and would never think twice about giving the shirt off his back to someone who needed it. He leaves behind five step kids who loved him dearly, Tina Galan Rosa, Tony Saldana and Venesa Saldana and from his previous marriage he leaves behind, Miguel Gamez and Joshua Gamez. Daniel wasn’t just a great father, he was also a great grandfather. Although he wasn’t their biological Dad, he loved and took them in as if they were his own kids and grandkids. He was a wonderful man who showed them all what a father should be and his kids and grandkids miss him and are grieving with heavy hearts... but they know that he’s not hurting anymore or feeling alone and is reunited with his wife Maria and his parents and is looking down at all of them with a huge smile... We will never forget you Dad.
