Obituary of Patricia McShaffry

Patricia F. McShaffry was a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, and friend. She passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020 at age 69 in Port Charlotte, FL. Patricia was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 30, 1951. Growing up in Wildwood, NJ she graduated from Wildwood Catholic High School in 1970. She retired from Delta Airlines in Atlanta, GA after 16 years of service. Patricia was always full of energy, enthusiastic about life’s adventures and full of laughter. Strong in her faith, always lending a hand and sharing the warmth of her heart. She enjoyed traveling around the world. Patricia enjoyed being a part of the Atlanta Passion Play for several years and loved singing in First Baptist of Atlanta’s choir. Being a part of something big brought such joy to her life. Her bright smile and encouraging ways brought comfort to her family and friends. Patricia was happiest with her family surrounded by all her grandchildren and particularly loved taking them on adventures and telling stories. On October 2, 2020 Patricia was diagnosed with a glioblastoma multiforme. She never once doubted her faith in Jesus and his great plans for her. Her faith truly remained strong. Patricia is predeceased by her parents Joseph H. McShaffry and Rose M. Soos. She is survived by her daughter Tara P. Kutnak and son-in-law Todd, son John T. Chumbley, daughter Danielle S.
