Obituary of James Thomas Reecer

August 4th 2020 James went to be with our Lord Jesus, surrounded by his daughter, son and wife. He had a long struggle with Parkinson's. He was born on October 18th 1943 in Gallatin Tennessee. He was survived by his wife Pat Reecer, son Bob Reecer, daughter Debora Reecer-Mobley, Son-in-law Mike Mobley, Brother Anthony Reecer , Sister Margaret Brewer, Uncle William B Reecer and many nieces, nephews he loved dearly. James was a wonderful husband and father. He loved his family and was proud of both of his children. When James was well he enjoyed many fishing trips with his brothers, son and friends! There was always a bet on who caught the first fish regardless of size! He enjoyed working in the Automobile industry working together with his son. He was a great mentor to both of his children giving them great drive to succeed in anything they do! We would like to thank Heidi, his hospice nurse for her wonderful and loving care for James until the very end. A Celebration of Life service will be held September 5th at the Community of Life Center at 1:30. Address: 19048 Edgewater Drive Port Charlotte, Fl 33948. After the service, drinks and Hors d'oeuvres will be served.
