Obituary of Thomas Huston

Thomas Alfred Huston Englewood, Florida Age 72 Died of natural causes Friday, July, 31 2020 Born November, 13 1947 in Toledo, Ohio. He was the son of the late Tadeusz (Ted) Huston and Bernita Johnson, Huston. Tom served in the Vietnam War and thankfully returned home to raise his family. He worked as a mail carrier in Southern California before he retired and enjoyed a carefree life in Englewood Florida with great neighbors and good friends. The family got a glimpse of his carefree spirit when he packed up and moved to his home (seen only in pictures) in Englewood. We can only imagine how he must have felt when he drove down the street and saw his home and city for the first time. He wasn't disappointed. We have fond memories of spending quality time with him in Englewood. He was truly happy. Preceded in death by his brother Joe Draper. Surviving are his daughters Dawn Johnson and husband Ricky; Linda Miller and husband Jeff. Surviving siblings, Ardis Dardenne and husband Dick; Tony Huston. Grandchildren Emily Gallegos and husband Andrew; David Miller. Great Grandchild Jayton Gallegos. We were blessed with a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed. Tom will be cremated. Memorial TBD.
