Obituary of Lisha Aguilar Vasquez

Lisha was born in Jasper, FL on December 20, 1975 to the parents of Melva Morgan and Willie Strickland Jr, Lisha has one sister, Amy Baker. She was raised by her nanny, Gloria, and papa, Willie, Strickland who she loved very much. On Wednesday, May 6th, she had unexpectedly died due to a heart attack and blood clot in the lungs. She was taken far too soon from the lives of everyone who loved her. Lisha always had a fiery spirit and was known to speak her mind no matter what. She was so strong and selfless to the people in her life. If she loved you then she definitely made it known and would do anything for you. She had met her husband, Miguel Aguilar, in North Carolina over 20 years ago, who describes himself as “lost and not knowing true love” until meeting her. She showed him what true love is and they have been inseparable since. He also fell in love with her 2 children and cared for them as his own: Christopher (26) and Victoria (26) Haga (Ryan Moore) as well as having two children together: Reina (21) and Beronica (20) Aguilar Vasquez. They continued to show all four of them an immeasurable amount of love and support. Lisha also has two beautiful grandchildren: Isabella (4) and Rilynn (2) who she loved more than anything and constantly spoiled them with all of the surprises and “pop pops” in the world. Although she was taken from this physical world way too soon, she continues to live on through the memories and lessons that she taught those closest to her. Lisha is survived by her husband (Miguel), daughters (Victoria, Reina, & Beronica), son (Christopher), sister (Amy), and mother (Melva). As well as her nephews (Otto & Chase), and niece (Ayla) and closest friend (Missy Funke) as well as many other family members and friends. Lisha is preceded by her dad (Willie Jr), grandmother (Gloria), grandfather (Willie), and step-dad (Gene).
