Obituary of Paul R. Armbruster

Paul R. Armbruster, 81, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away on February 13, 2020. Paul was born on June 3, 1938 in Cambridge, OH to Clarence and Hattie (nee Graham) Armbruster. He graduated from St. Benedict High School in Cambridge, OH and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Paul worked for the Cambridge, OH Police Department and was a member of the F.O.P. Cambridge Lodge #10, American Legion Port Charlotte Post #110, Elks Cambridge, OH Post #448, Fraternal Order of Eagles #386 Cambridge, and Moose Lodge Port Charlotte Lodge #212. Paul loved reading local history, cooking, and westerns. Survivors include his wife Sue; step children Julie (Greg) Sylvis, Dave Jr. (Deana) Schick, Frank (Rachael) Schick; grandchildren Joe (Sammi) Sylvis, Justin and Charlie Schick, and Anysa Schick; and four great grandchildren, Annabell, Violet, Emma, and Ripley. Memorial donations may be made to TideWell Hospice, Inc., or to the Animal Welfare League.
