Obituary of Arthnel L. Hastings

Arthnel “Art” Hastings, 88, of Port Charlotte, FL, passed away on September 14, 2019.  Art was born on May 22, 1931 in New Roads, Westmoreland, Jamaica, moving to the area in 1980.  He served as a minister for many years.

Survivors include his sister, Hermine Edwards of London, England; son, Denzil Hastings of Miami, FL; daughter, Angela Hastings of Tampa, FL; granddaughter, Tatanisha Hastings of Miramar, FL; and great grandsons Temeir and Ayden of Miramar, FL.

A viewing and celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 4th at 7PM at Bethel United Evangelical and Missionary Outreach Church, 4200 Juniper Road, Port Charlotte, FL 33948.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5th at 10AM at the church, followed by interment at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, 1380 Forrest Nelson Blvd., Port Charlotte, FL.
