Albert L. Moore, 89, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Charlotte Harbor Healthcare in Port Charlotte. Mr. Moore was born September 30, 1919 in Newfoundland, Canada to Zebedee and Susan Mary (Flight) Moore. He worked 40 years in foreign service as a comptroller for Exxon Mobil Corporation. After retiring, Mr. Moore moved to Port Charlotte 31 years ago from Libya, North Africa. He was also an avid golfer having played in every country he was stationed and was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army. Mr. Moore was of Protestant faith.
Mr. Moore is survived by his brother, Arthur R. (Lorraine) Moore of Oxford, ME; caregiver, Bill McNulty of Port Charlotte; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Bruce Cutts in 1995 and brother, William Eric Moore.
