Obituary of Dolores Colmenares

Dolores Colmenares, 94, of Port Charlotte, Florida died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at her residence. Ms. Colmenares was born November 2, 1915 in the Canary Islands, Spain to Amelio and Josesa (nee Grana) Colmenares and moved to this area 15 years ago from Queens, New York. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper for CNA Insurance and was of Catholic faith. Ms. Colmenares is survived by her niece, Mildred Cuebas and nephew, George Cuebas, both of Port Charlotte; and also 22 great and great-great-nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass was held at 11:00AM on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at San Antonio Catholic Church, 24445 Rampart Boulevard in Port Charlotte. Visit Dolores' tribute wall at www.schelmfh.com.
