Obituary of Edmund Weldon

Edmund Weldon, 91, of Port Charlotte, Florida passed away Monday, December 17, 2012 at Tidewell Hospice in Port Charlotte. Mr. Weldon was born January 6, 1921 in Chelsea, Massachusetts to Ingnacy and Agnes (nee Kornatowska) Wojciechowski and moved to this area 35 years ago from Hyde Park, MA. He worked as an inspector at the US Air Force Base and was a veteran of the US Navy serving in WWII and Korea. Mr. Weldon was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Port Charlotte. Mr. Weldon is survived by his sons, Edmund A. (June) Weldon and Robert E. (Donna) Welson all of Norton, MA; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Mr. Weldon was preceded in death by his wife, Teddy in 1992. No services will be held at this time. Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Port Charlotte.
